The rally Talon (or "Talon 2") was purchased used in 1999. The car had about 135,000 miles on it so the price was quite reasonable. After nearly a full year of buildup and preparation the car was ready for competition at the Sno*Drift Pro Rally in January of 2000. Scott Harvey and Bob Martin took "T2" to a successful debut at the two Club Rallies held on the snow and ice covered stage roads around Atlanta, Michigan. The result was two 2nd place finishes in the PGT class in both rallies. Since that beginning, this all-wheel-drive sports car has proven to be quite reliable and dependable. In 2001 the team of Scott Harvey and Jeff Hribar ran two Pro Rallies and two Club Rallies and finished them all.
